The SCA Annual Conference

'Shaping the Future of Capital Markets'

In the year 2006, the SCA organized its first Annual Conference with the aim of discussing the most important issues of capital markets and communicating with all parties involved in these markets to share ideas, insights about these issues and developments taking place in the UAE, the region, and the world. Since that time, the SCA has organized many annual conferences.

This year’s annual conference will be held on November 15th 2020 in concurrence with the 45th Annual Meeting of International Organization of Securities Commission (IOSCO), the global standard setter for the securities sector, which will take place in Dubai for the first time during the period November 16-18, 2020.

The SCA Annual Conference will focus this year on the future of capital markets from regulators perspective. In addition, it will discuss the possible steps that should be taken to increase market liquidity. A special session will be held to discuss the latest economic developments in the world and the region, with a focus on the UAE and the expected impact of these changes on the local financial markets.

Who Should Attend?

This conference is an opportunity for all participants to meet and network with the most important parties involved in the securities industry, including securities regulators, executives in financial markets, commodity markets, financial services companies, listed companies, mutual funds, investment managers, financial consulting firms, data vendors and others who are interested in the financial markets.
